Guidance for job seekers
Never pay money to get a job
Legitimate employers do not ask you to pay upfront fees, training costs, equipment deposits, or visa processing charges to secure a role.
Protect your personal documents
Do not share your passport, TFN, driver licence, banking details, or identity documents before you have verified the employer and the role is genuine.
Be wary of off-platform contact
Be careful if someone moves the conversation to WhatsApp, Telegram, or other messaging apps immediately — especially before an interview or offer.
Watch for unrealistic offers
Extremely high salaries for little experience, vague job descriptions, or pressure to decide quickly are common warning signs of scams.
Report suspicious listings
If something does not feel right, report it. We review reports and remove listings that put job seekers at risk.
